John Bryan is Director of Investments with Stonemark and is integral in both acquisition underwriting and asset management responsibilities long after closing. John has worked in real estate for 25 years, starting out performing acquisitions for utility and public works projects in New York, Virginia, and the Pacific Northwest before moving on to real estate appraisal in the early 2000s.  During his appraisal career, he reviewed the operations of over 1,000 properties across a variety of real estate asset classes.  As part of his work, he developed financial models with varying levels of complexity and refined the indications into a cogent narrative.  His breadth of experience and penchant for analysis allows John to analyze properties, best understand the markets where they compete and model their performance to anticipate risk and maximize opportunities. 

John has an undergraduate degree from the University at Albany, a Construction Management Certificate from the University of Washington, and holds the MAI designation through the Appraisal Institute.  He calls Seattle home along with his wife, two daughters and a dog.
